I had forgotten why I don't go there but now I remember, I was there with my husband today, went to get something real quick but as soon as you enter the store the smell of rotten meat!!! As small as it is not even la chiquita smells like that...parking lot is a nightmare overall won't ever go back not even for a emergency

We ordered dinner for our son's rehearsal dinner on Nov. 9th, we were charged $284 twice, one when we picked the order at the store and another one trough the web when we did the order. They haven't returned our money yet, it's been more than a month, we have called more than ten times, texted, and nothing. We will be contesting the charge with our credit card next.

overall good store. but they need to stop selling whole boxes of tortillas to people. you guys need to put a limit per person. not fair for people to not find tortillas.

We pick up hot ready-to-eat food on Sundays from El Paso Grande. Always fresh and very tasty. They have plenty of options from enchiladas, gorditas to lots of choices of guisados. You can also buy fresh flour tortillas and fresh corn carnitas. Weekends they have great menudo, you just need to arrive early.

Great experience! Really liked the home-made food bar (Flautas were a hit with my daughter, the Barbacoa pictured below on a tortilla & heated up at home was tasty with flavors of clove & cinnamon, and their home-made Tamales were nothing short of excellent -- some of the best in Chicago!). The staff was very helpful so be sure to ask them for any questions (I was looking up a name on a package on my phone, in my search for Mexican Oregano, and one of the people who worked there stopped to help me with that, confirmed my other purchase of dry white corn as I try to make Pozole, and even recommended the amount of pork shoulder to buy). The bakery items looked delicious, and the meat & fish counter was very well maintained, as was all of the store for that matter. I'll definitely be returning, and thanks for a great experience for me & my daughter looking for a great Mexican grocery store.

We love their meats, produce, bakery and the hot food that is already made. We have been going their since 1993. Employees are friendly. The store is usually crowded and the parking lots too but we don't care. It's worth the trip.
